As your next Ramsey County Attorney, I will seek justice and ensure public safety by working with police, law enforcement and judicial officials, community organizations, and residents to:

Hold Offenders Accountable by:

• Aggressively prosecuting violent crime, sexual assault and domestic abuse;
• Utilizing innovative civil and criminal prosecution tools to pursue criminal gang members and eliminate problem properties; and

Provide Innovative Leadership by:

• Developing and incorporating best practices in felony-level domestic abuse prosecution;
• Implementing innovative, cost-effective solutions for nonviolent offenders, including diversion, restorative justice and alternatives to incarceration, when appropriate.

Prevent Juvenile Crime by:

• Expanding truancy intervention efforts through a community prosecution approach; and
• Developing prevention and intervention strategies for juvenile offenders to reduce recidivism and put our kids on a productive course.
